Debby is focused on a number of strategic and transformational projects, working closely with the CEO, Group President and Chief Strategy Officer.
Most recently, Deb served as the Integration Leader for KP’s newest region in Washington. Deb lead the integration process to launch KP’s first new region in 30-years through the acquisition of Group Health Cooperative.
For almost 10 years, Debby served as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for the Northern California Region with oversight of the region’s $15 billion 10-year regional capital plan, business development ventures and service delivery strategy and planning. In that role, she lead the region’s inpatient expansion and compliance with state seismic regulations for hospitals, a joint venture development to acquire 20% ownership of a Dignity hospital, and market expansion into Santa Cruz. She has been a versatile leader across the Program, serving as Interim SVP for National Strategy, supporting the Mid-Atlantic region’s strategy and growth plans, and leading national new growth and expansion projects. Deb also maintains a key leadership as a member of the Pacific Business Group on Health Customer Advisory Group for Kaiser Permanente.
Debby has almost 25 years of experience at KP. She was appointed VP Strategy and Integration in August 2002 and promoted to SVP Strategy and Business Development in July 2007 and recently moved to a National role. Prior to joining KP, Debby spent three years in management consulting with Lewin and Associates, a health policy and strategic planning firm. Debby received her BA degree from University of California at Berkeley.
