Based in Oakland, California, Dr. Jennifer Slovis is the Chief of Health Promotion for the East Bay Medical Centers, where she has been a physician leader involved with employer engagement for almost 15 years. Additionally, she serves as the medical director of the Multi-Specialty Transitions Clinic, a comprehensive care regional specialty clinic serving gender-diverse Kaiser Permanente members in Northern California.
Dr. Slovis is an associate clinical professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco and regularly precepts medical residents and students through the first transgender/gender-diverse teaching rotation in a Kaiser Permanente clinic setting. Dr. Slovis is board certified in family practice and completed her residency at the Georgetown University Family Practice Residency Program in Washington, D.C.
