Title 1: Vice President, Social Health
Anand Shah is vice president of social health at Kaiser Permanente. In this role, he is responsible for developing and implementing the organization’s national social health strategy, with a focus on improving the health of vulnerable populations and addressing the social determinants of health.
Anand was most recently the chief product and clinical officer at Pieces Technologies, where he helped develop a platform to predict clinical and social risk while connecting health systems and community organizations to address social determinants. Anand is trained as an emergency physician, with prior academic appointments at the University of Texas Southwestern, the University of Pennsylvania, and Brown University.
