Troy Long, MD, is an internal medicine physician with more than 16 years of experience in primary care and population health at the Colorado Permanente Medical Group. From 2014 to 2017, Dr. Long was a regional value advisor and led quality, affordability, and service initiatives for Kaiser Permanente’s primary care departments in Colorado.
Dr. Long also serves as a physician ambassador for more than 30 national Kaiser Permanente accounts. In this role, he meets virtually or in person to share population-based metrics and to educate employers on the work Kaiser Permanente does to care for members and communities. He has also served as a physician leader on compensation and wellness committees.
Board Certified in internal medicine, Dr. Long is dedicated to helping patients reinforce their healthy living choices and work toward improved health. Dr. Long is proficient in Spanish.
Prior to working at Kaiser Permanente, Dr. Long practiced internal medicine at Intermountain in Colorado. Dr. Long received his medical degree from the University of Colorado and completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
