In her current role, Violeta collaborates with clinical and administrative leaders to develop and implement Kaiser Permanente’s program-wide clinical quality improvement, patient safety goals, and complex performance improvement efforts on a national level. In addition, Violeta provides leadership and expertise to specialty care collaborative groups with participants from the seven Kaiser Permanente regions. Her work includes the identification of internal and external best practices that can improve the quality of care and life of Kaiser Permanente members. Prior to this position, Violeta was a quality leader within the Northern and Southern California Kaiser Foundation Health Plans and The Permanente Medical Group.
Violeta has a master's degree in health care administration and a medical degree from the University of Belgrade, Yugoslavia. She holds a health care insurance executive leader certification from America’s Health Insurance Plans and a patient safety officer certification from Intermountain Healthcare, Advanced Education.
