Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine
In 2019, Kaiser Permanente will open a medical school in Pasadena, California as part of the organization’s ongoing effort to lead in meeting America’s demands for 21st-century health care. The school will be designed around the KP care delivery model—incorporating advanced health information technology, moving beyond the traditional health care setting, acknowledging the importance of collaboration, and promoting diversity and inclusion to deliver health equity.
The Permanente Journal
The Permanente Journal advances knowledge in scientific research, clinical medicine, and innovative health care delivery. It is written and published by the clinicians of the Permanente Medical Groups and Kaiser Foundation Health Plan to promote the delivery of superior health care through the principles and benefits of Permanente Medicine.
More than 21,000 Permanente physicians play an important role as stewards of the health and health resources of the 11.7 million Kaiser Permanente patients and members across the country. Our physicians lead the movement to transform health care in America by exemplifying the tenets of Permanente Medicine – person-centered, high-quality care that embraces the latest innovations in medicine and is supported by an integrated care delivery model.
